"Divas For A Cure" Making Harley Ride Pit Stop In Triad

Milaukee, WI-- Harley-Davidson is proud to sponsor this year's annual Divas For A Cure (DFAC) Breast Cancer Motorcycle Run.

DFAC is a service based nonprofit organization dedicated to raising cancer awareness through early detection, education, screenings and supporting research for eradicating cancer.

This year's Breast Cancer Motorcycle Run will take place from mid July to early August.

The goal for this year is to raise $100,000. Last year, DFAC raised $50,000.

On Wednesday, July 16th these group of riders will make a stop in Greensboro.

They will be at the Harley Shop on Farragut Street. The reception starts at 5pm-7pm.The "Divas" will be joined by local Harley Riders and Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes. The ride will include DFAC Founder and President of the organization Jan Emanuel-Costley, Vice-President Aj Coffee, Cynthia Marcy and Elaine Thomas.

The 6,000 mile ride departed from Brown Mills, NJ to the official kick-off city of Atlanta.

The ride continues from Atlanta to Canada, Canada to the National Bikers Roundup in Pennsylvania, down the East Coast and finally returning back to Atlanta.
